What we do is have fun! We have fun riding and talking about antique motorcyles.

It seems that while we're doing this we're also helping other people too. The Colonial Chapter not only has private riding functions but we also sponsor and co-sponsor a number of charitable events throughout the year. The generousity of the members and those that have attended our functions have helped to provide assistance to organizations such as The Big Brothers and Big Sisters of New Jersey, the Make a Wish Foundation and the Karen Ann Quinlin Society. We find ourselves surrounded by decent, caring people.

Each year, around the beginning of June, we take over the Warren County Fairgrounds in Harmony, New Jersey to host our National Meet. Our three day event attracts people from many countries across the world. Each there to have fun. A fun that can only come from the love of the machines that our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents rode. They enjoyed the same freedom and thrill that we do today but in a simpler time.

"----AMCA people are good company because they are people that have slowed down. They have slowed down because they have chosen to and because they understand that a slower pace can improve the quality of their lives. They realize that if they get there too quickly, they will probably miss the bluffs, the sky, the pines, and the Aspens. Thus they choose the kinds of vehicles that will get them where they're going at a pace that will guarentee the quality of the experience."

I think that pretty well sums it up.....
